The ribs of the back are tied onto the forms for shaping.

The first rib is glued onto the ribs. There is a mold form in the middle to hold the ribs of the back at the proper height and to help align the joints.
Back Back
The first rib is glued onto the top block extension of the neck and the bottom block. The plywood block at the end of the instrument is only supporting the instrument block and ribs and will be removed later.
Front Strut
The front is reinforced with only two bars, but they are wide and tall.
Top block Block
The back is reinforced with parchment strips. There are no linings around the top edge. The block is narrow.
